Having been involved in the Marine Industry for over 21 years, I have been fortunate enough to go fishing with numerous “celebrity” fishing pros. Never did I expect the trip my wife and I took with Captain Brian to be the best fishing trip ever! From the start, we felt extremely comfortable, confident and exceptionally at ease. Being that this was my wife’s first Tarpon Trip, Brian’s sense of humor and extreme honest style put her over the top. Jen was a huge fan of the Tarpon tournaments she watched on television and she grew up Bass fishing with her father. Never did I expect her to become obsessed with it after one experience. Now it is her one main goal to catch a fish with Brian on every charter he offers.
Brian is a consummate professional that catches fish when no one else does, and when nothing is biting, he will keep you in stitches and well informed. We have already booked a trip for next year….and the next…..and the next…..

I first fished with Captain Brian two years ago after having chartered a trip the previous year with another captain. As I look back, it’s hard to believe how different the two experiences were. You might think the captain you choose will not have much bearing on the outcome of your charter, especially when fishing a place as prolific as Boca Grande. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Captain Brian is a personable, entertaining, and knowledgeable host. He’ll put you on fish that most others are unwilling or unable to work that hard for. The extra effort has huge pay-offs. Most of our tarpon fall in the 150 lb. class (conservative). Every day of fishing we’ve been provided plenty of action and never gone home skunked.
I plan on fishing with Brian every spring from now until forever. If we couldn’t fish with Brian, I’m not sure we’d go tarpon fishing anymore. As the ring tone on his cell phone indicates, he’s just a “good old boy.”

I'm writing this testimony to let anyone who is considering a tarpon fishing charter know that Capt. Brian Hart is the man you want to book it with. Putting aside the fact that he's just a great guy who you would want to go fishing with anyway, he is a top notch professional that other captains watch to see what he is doing. We literally had other boats following us and watching what baits we were using in a effort to get the number of hook-ups that we were enjoying.
Capt. Brian Hart is truly passionate about getting tarpon on the end of your line and getting them to the side of your boat. You can tell that he knows you are not there to catch a suntan, but to aggressively hook and boat tarpon. He is the man you want.
My father and I had a day that was beyond all expectation and will be bragged about for the rest of our lives. Not just because of the 200+lb. tarpon we each caught that day, but because of the fun we had through the hard work, effort and knowledge of our Captain.
So in conclusion, don't be one of those people on one of the other boats who were wishing they were on our boat that day. Be the one who is on the boat catching the most that day.
All of our future Tarpon fishing trips, and we plan to take several, will be done with Brian at the helm. Period.

I had the Privilege of being guided by Capt. Hart on a Tarpon Fishing trip. Fishing was outstanding, I caught (4) tarpon ranging from 180 to 120 lbs. in a 3 hour period. It was a pleasure to fish with Capt. Hart, professionalism at its best. I have fished worldwide, Capt Hart ranks as one of the Best!

I wanted to write you and thank you again for the fantastic fishing trip. It could not have been any better. I was worried about taking my 10 year old son Nathan with me, I didn’t know if he was ready for an adventure like that or not, but you encouraged me to bring him along. Boy, am I glad I did! It was the best fishing trip I have ever been on, and to share that with my son was priceless. Thank Frank and your dad for all the help. They were great working with Nathan and helping him land his first tarpon, what a thrill for him(and me). He is still talking about it. This is one experience that will last us both a lifetime. You are a true professional and a super person and I look forward to seeing you again next year. Thanks again Brian, you just don’t know how much this trip meant to me and my son.
